The film follows this story: A drug lord who pretends to overthrow the Mexican government. A corrupt CIA agent (Johnny Depp) who at that time, demands retribution from his worst enemy to carry out the drug lord’s uprising against the government..

Once Upon a Time in Mexico really surprised me. I had been looking forward to it ever since I saw the trailer a few months ago and I have to say I was not disappointed in the least.

Visually the film is beautiful and I found myself in awe many times during the movie. I thought Once Upon a Time in Mexico was breathtaking.
